1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VeritasOSINT ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VeritasOSINT provides an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) platform that aggregates data from multiple public sources for investigative and research purposes. The Service includes:

• Multi-source intelligence gathering
• Investigation visualization tools
• Search history and data retention
• Export and reporting capabilities
• API access

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must not share your account credentials
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in illegal activities, or abuse the Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use VeritasOSINT for:

• Legal research and investigations
• Security research and analysis
• Fraud detection and prevention
• Cybersecurity threat intelligence
• Academic and journalistic research
• Due diligence and background checks

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use VeritasOSINT for:

• Illegal activities or purposes
• Harassment, stalking, or doxxing
• Unauthorized access to systems or data
• Violation of privacy laws or regulations
• Discrimination or targeting protected groups
• Reselling or redistributing our data
• Automated scraping without written permission
• Circumventing rate limits or access controls

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Plans

• Free: Limited features, 100 searches/month
• Pro ($19.99/month): 5,000 searches/month, advanced features
• Investigator ($49.99/month): Unlimited searches, all features

5.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy
• We collect and aggregate data from public sources
• You are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws
• We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of data

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

All rights, title, and interest in VeritasOSINT, including software, design, and trademarks, are owned by VeritasOSINT Technologies GmbH.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to your investigations, notes, and exported data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data to provide the Service.

7.3 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 Data Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data. You are responsible for verifying information obtained through the Service.

8.3 Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERITASOSINT TECHNOLOGIES GMBH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeritasOSINT Technologies GmbH from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of applicable laws

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
